Hello Linux developers / enthusiasts. I'm a Linux newbie. I don't
know what happened, but some time ago my audio stopped working. I'm not
be able to hear sounds anymore on my Ubuntu 13.04 workstation. I read
a lot of tutorials and tried a lot of combinations to restore it,but
without success right now. This is what lspci says :

00:10.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation MCP51 High Definition Audio (rev a2)
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF104 [GeForce
GTX 460] (rev a1)
02:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GF104 High Definition Audio
Controller (rev a1)

here you can find all the relevant informations about the sound system
of my computer.
