Hi All,
I was wondering if you guys could help with a scratching audio in my sound card.
It appears when I receive Skype notifications, and for a few instants when I start a new call, then stabilizes and disappears for the remaining of the call, only to reappear when it ends.
So far I did not notice it with other applications.
The phenomenon appeared in both installations that I tried, i.e. Ubuntu 13.04 and Fedora 19, which I am currently using.
The output of lspci is this one:
07:00.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Cape Verde/Pitcairn HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 7700/7800 Series]
(In Ubuntu the output was somewhat different: 00:14.2 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) (rev 40) But I have been told I should not be surprised by it)
Thanks a lot for the look you are taking :-) and for any suggestion,
Giampaolo
