I tried this device with Ubuntu 12.04, TangoStudio and previous AVLinux version to produce music with Ardour, Hydrogen ans various sequencers and synthesizers. It did'n't work except MIDI. None of analog inputs/outputs are recognized by qjackctl. It appears in lsusb as "midiman" but nothing in "aplay -l". Lsmod shows the snd-usb-audio is loaded. It seems to work with AVLinux 6.0.1 but it's difficult for me to test it with the qwerty keyboard of live-DVD. Does it mean that I need higher versions of alsa packages ? But I failed installing current releases (.27) on U-12.04 and Tango (U-10.04 based). I broke libasound2 dependancies and the whole audio system is now ill. I tried "apt-get instal alsaXXX alsaYYY alsaZZZ" but it no more worked. Synaptic also refuses to return on previous state of alsa/libasound and when i try to suppress it, it tells me the whole audio applications will be suppressed too...
