compatablity for Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller??

hey i hope im in the right place, i installed ubuntu on my laptop (i'm not new to linux, i've done this several times) 

and apperently it's not yet compatable with the ubuntu system?    the help forum said a could request support for my card?

it's just like to know if i can do that and if i'm in the right place, here what i got when a ran  lspci -v | grep -A7 -i "audio"

idk i looked it up and alsa says it's not supported?  i love some help, or atleast some one to point me in the right direction?
