Please follow the instructions on this page to build a new kernel:

  https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/GitKernelBuild

In step 2, instead of the command mentioned, please take the following one:

  git clone -b snd-usb git://github.com/zonque/linux.git

This will pull the sources from my repository, which has a patch for
this device.

And in step 3, you can skip the optional second part, and also step 6 is
not necessary.

Please let me and the list know if that works for you.
