Hmm, didn't Hugo's alsa-info output show the PCI ID 13f6:8788? That one
is in listed in the driver at least:

  { OXYGEN_PCI_SUBID(0x13f6, 0x8788), .driver_data = MODEL_CMEDIA_REF },
