At first, I thought this control had no effect at all, as the audio output only becomes audibly quieter when this control is well below 10%/-60dB. The rest of the range sounds like full volume, which is definitely not correct. So, perhaps there is a bug either in the usb audio driver or in the class-compliance of the RME interfaces. Is there a double dB-mapping or something?
