Sound devices usbpre2 is a very good interface, high quality stuff.. it's both usb1.1 and 2.0 combatible and it's finally recognized as a uac2 highspeed device by linux, this wasn't the case a couple of months ago. But, you still can't use the higher sample rates that should be available when you run it as a uac2 device. So there's no real difference other than that you don't have to hold a button when connecting the interface... Can I whine some more about this Clemens? -_- On 10/01/12 11:15, eloi wrote: > Le 01/10/2012 09:07, Clemens Ladisch a écrit : >> But probably with FFADO: >> http://www.ffado.org/?q=devicesupport%2Flist&filter0=motu&filter1=&op2=OR >> >> It might be easiest to get a FireWire ExpressCard for your laptop (if >> possible). >> >> >> > Hello > > Unfortunately, my laptop (dell xps 14z) don't have a expressCard slot ! > > Best regards > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Got visibility? > Most devs has no idea what their production app looks like. > Find out how fast your code is with AppDynamics Lite. > http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;262219671;13503038;y? > http://info.appdynamics.com/FreeJavaPerformanceDownload.html > _______________________________________________ > Alsa-user mailing list > Alsa-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Got visibility?
