Yes, there is a generic driver for USB audio interfaces. As long as
vendors of USB audio hardware keep to the specs, this should work out of
the box. I would say you can just give it a try :)

Note that there's a Wiki which lists all supported cards. If you have
success, I can add the card there as reference.
