I haven't been able to find documentation for this.  Anyway, according
to the source (jdk/src/solaris/native/com/sun/media/sound/PLATFORM_API_LinuxOS_ALSA_PCMUtils.c),
it does not allow to use user-defined devices (probably because of the
design of the Solaris sound API).
