Hello & happy new year to everyone After defective memory seems to have been the cause why my machine did not recognize my hammerfall (not HDSP) card at all, it is there now, but I still do not get it to work. Independend of wether the driver is compiled into the kernel or loaded as module, I do see following errors in dmesg: unable to request IRQ 0 RME Digi9652 (Hammerfall): probe of 0000:0b:02.0 failed with error -16 snd-hrtimer snd-page-alloc are loaded before alsa init script loads the driver modules.
