intel board DQ76SW configure back panel connectors snd_hda_intel

Hi there!

I own an Intel DQ67SW mainboard with series 6 chipset.
The manual says:
»The back panel audio connectors are configurable through the audio device drivers.«

This might be true for the Windows drivers. But is it possible to do this under Linux too?
Are there some (alsa) tools that can configure the line-in connector to be the rear output?

Thanks
Lars
