Hello,
I"m running Scientific Linux 6.1( clone of RH ) on this laptop. Laptop has a built in webcamera (uvcvideo recognised it as UVC 1.00 device CNF9055 (04f2:b1) ) and it works with xqtv. While recording video from it i can hear the static, but can't get any voice to record.
Here (http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=1519674182229aa404e233d27b9aec4b97b879db) are the results of the alsa-info.sh.
The command to record the video is:
 mencoder tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:device=/dev/video0:alsa:forceaudio:adevice=hw.0,0 -ovc lavc -oac mp3lame -o webcam.avi

Please advise.
Andrew
