Hi :) around a week ago I bought a RME HDSPe AIO. Because it's not really supported by Linux distros, I'll return the card to my dealer, but I'm anyway curious to hear the sound card, before I give it back. On Debian I'm running kernel 2.6.33.9-rt31, that's why I need to compile ALSA 1.0.24. I already build alsa-driver_1.0.24-hdspe-aio_amd64.deb alsa-lib_1.0.24.1-hdspe-aio_amd64.deb alsa-firmware_1.0.24.1-hdspe-aio_amd64.deb alsa-utils_1.0.24.2-hdspe-aio_amd64.deb but I don't know what commands to run, to build alsa-tools. I'm not sure if it's possible to use Ubuntu Natty packages for Debian, but I anyway wish to know how to build alsa-tools.
