In my wife's Toshiba Satellite laptop, there used to work audio very well. OS was that time Centos 5. Somehow after some updates of alsa, mic stopped to work. Ok, I have now moved there to Fedora 14 and no mic at all. I don't see in alsamixer or kmix or any mix microphone. There is Mic boost and capture, but useless. I do not use pulseaudio crap, that makes all more complicated. I can listen all tunes very ell, with all players an also in Skype.
