Left/Right balance issue with headphone jack

Hi,

I have a problem with the left/right balance when using the headphone jack on my Acer Aspire One 532h-2Db netbook.

Essentially, the right channel is almost inaudible compared to the left channel when they're evenly balanced (100%/100%). To get them sounding somewhat right, I have to set left to 10% and right to 100%, which means they're both very low in volume. From what I can tell this is just a problem with the headphone jack, the regular built-in speakers seem to be correctly balanced.

I've been trying for some time to correct this problem, but I just can't work out what's causing it. I suspect it may be some sort of bug in the sound card driver.

Here's the output of the alsa-info script: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=dc57e0bf677404986e5d47d85c397dc1eed1460f

If any more information is required I'll try my best to provide it.

Regards,
Mike Cribbens
