hi all,
i have some trouble, setting up the route plugin. in my case, i need to
apply different gains to the channels of a sound card.
i am using this asoundrc:
ctl.lxgained {
type hw
card 1
}
pcm.lxgained {
type route
slave {
pcm "hw:1,0"
}
ttable.0.0 1
ttable.1.1 1
[snip]
ttable.63.63 1
}
it basically works, if the gain of a channel is set to 1. but if i set it to
different values, the channel is silent.
any idea, what i am doing wrong? maybe it just works with float samples? (if
so, how could i configure the device correctly?
