Realtek ALC887 / HDA Intel

Hello,

I have this chip/codec on a Asus EeeTop ET2203 and am encountering the
following issues :

- speaker output is barely audible when volume >=100% (you have to put
your ear on the integrated speaker)
- input and output jacks don't seem to work
- integrated microphone don't seem to work

I have reported the first issue here
https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/595094 and linked it to this
upstream bug https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=5047

My questions :

1) HD-Audio-Models.txt.gz doesn't speak about this codec ; do I have
to assume that the model=xxx won't do anything (I tried some from the
ALC882/883/885/888/889, but dmesg still says that it's trying to
auto-probe from BIOS)

2) What can I do to help debug this situation (the first problem
reported being my biggest issue)? Should I try something with
hda_analyzer ?

I'd be very happy to try anything that might help.

Thanks a lot for your help.
