I have an M-Audio Jamlab usb sound card. It works, but It doesn't seem to have any simple controls: $amixer -c1 controls numid=1,iface=MIXER,name='PCM Playback Switch' numid=2,iface=MIXER,name='PCM Playback Volume' numid=3,iface=MIXER,name='Mic Capture Switch' numid=4,iface=MIXER,name='Mic Capture Volume' $amixer -c1 scontrols amixer: Mixer hw:1 load error: Invalid argument $alsamixer -c1 cannot load mixer controls: Invalid argument Is there some way to fix this?
