Maudio Delta 1010LT: Rate problem recording from DAT via spdif

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

i tried to transfer a live recording from a dat recorder via spdif
connection.

The dat recording is standard dat format (48 kHz, 16 bit).

Master Clock of MAudio Delta 1010LT ist set to 48000 Hz using EnvyControl
(Hardware Settings).

After recording to the pc I tried to play the wav file using Amarok; Master
Clock of Delta 1010LT is set to 48000 Hz; I changed nothing before
playback.

The pitch of the file played on the pc is higher than the original pitch
playing the dat tape in the dat recorder.

If I switch the Delta 1010LT Master Control to 44100 Hz the pitch on pc and
dat recorder is the same.

Does the Delta 1010LT a rate conversion in the spdif input section?

Is there a wrong setting in my environment?
