change the id of a card

Hi All,

I did not find it in documentation / google.
Is it possible to set the id of a specific card or usb sound device to a
specific number?

My problem is that I'm using some flash application with audio and video
but this flash application always takes the default microphone of the
first card. It is not possible in FlashPlayer to choose another
microphone.

So I wanted to ask how to make the USB headset the first sound device in
Linux?

Thank you very much!

Mathias
