Error on build ALSA utilities for embedded board

Hi All,

I am trying to test ALSA utilities on my embedded board,embedded board is for VOIP application

I have successfully cross-compiled 

alsa-lib-0.9.1
ncurses-5.2

Now when I try cross-compiling  alsa-utils-0.9.1 with the above libraries I get the following error.

arm-linux-gcc  -I/root/LN2410/ALSA_lib/include  -L/root/LN2410/ALSA_lib/lib -o amixer  amixer.o -lm -lasound -lm -ldl -lpthread
amixer.o: In function `get_integer':
amixer.o(.text+0x91c): undefined reference to `__ctype_b_loc'

amixer.o: In function `get_integer64':
amixer.o(.text+0xb00): undefined reference to `__ctype_b_loc'
amixer.o: In function `get_volume_simple':
amixer.o(.text+0xda8): undefined reference to `__ctype_b_loc'

amixer.o(.text+0xe60): undefined reference to `__ctype_b_loc'
amixer.o(.text+0xf20): undefined reference to `__ctype_b_loc'
amixer.o(.text+0x2bf0): more undefined references to `__ctype_b_loc' follow

Kindly help me fix this.
