Hi! I'm experience trouble with getting my int. microphone working on
my Sony Vaio P.

I've tried unmuting all channels and putting capture source to int.mic
but still silence only :(

I've tried both with default settings and model=toshiba-s06
.Everything other works fine.

Here is a workaround that afaik bypasses faulty mixer configurations on any HDA device:

Go to http://alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Help_To_Debug_Intel_HDA and follow the link to get the HDA-Analyzer. You need to run it once as root after each boot and get things how you want them (this will take a bit of trial and error), after which you can quit.

To use it you will need to have hwdep and dynamic codec reconfiguration enabled in the driver, which may mean having to build your own kernel.

Device drivers -> sound card support -> ALSA -> PCI -> Intel HD Audio -> Build hwdep (SND_HDA_HWDEP) / Allow dynamic codec reconfiguration (SND_HDA_RECONFIG)
