Hi, Using kernel 2.6.31 on a debian 'testing' laptop I get choppy sound through the HDMI port to a LCD TV set. It doesn't seem to be a bandwidth issue as the sound is halting or choppy even when only playing music (no video) and I use a 1.3a cable. When playing a movie the sound is still choppy but the movie is fluid. The sound is otherwise fine on this Dell XPS 1330 laptop.
