By the way, you can still play mlp audio (true hd) if you have a nvidia card. 
Multichannel hdmi is now supported and will probably be in next kernel 
release.

Using the repository version of nvhdmi I'm able to play mutlichannel mlp 
tracks in 96/24 :) :) :)
