Alsa Drivers & X configuration

My laptop is an HP HDX16t.

I've tried the model=hp-hdx option, but had no success.
(I also tried model=auto, model=hp and no model option)

Someone in the list suggested me to update the alsa drivers, but as I did
my X server went crazy and had no X at all.

Is there a way to set up hp-hdx without installing the new drivers?
If the answer is no, how can I install the new drivers without ruining the X server?

I attach the results of alsa-info.sh.
