SBLive spdif recording - really low volume

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I'trying to record an spdif source using the CD in connector on my
SBLive Value (CT4850). The source is a Pionner mixer (DJM700) and works
fine when connected to my amp.

After a huge amount of google queries, tests of parameters, test of the
different applications, I finally managed to record whithout glitches
using ardour, but I'm experiencing a really low level at recording. I've
to push the output of my mixer to saturation (meters reach +10dB) to
reach -6dB in the recordings... and the quality suffers of it.

This has been the case with all software used.

Also I've not managed to record the standard analog line input with
ardour... none of the 16 channels will produce anything with analog input.

As anyone any hint about this issue?

Thanks
