Is there a fallback mechanism in the alsa's configurations files, so the usb card1 is used *only if present*, else the integrated card0 is chosen? Or, if there isn't, is there any smart way to do it? I searched the list, a similar question was asked in 2007 and the answer was "no", but maybe something is changed since then...
