Issues With dmix-gstreamer

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

HI!

I am using a 'dmix' plug in along-with gstreamer/alsasink. The audio codec chip does not have a mixer, it's just has a DAC.

When Playing back some video files, after 1 or 2 media files the playback becomes too slow and gets slower towards the end of the file. What I doubt is since the audio playback becomes too slow, the video is also made slow to keep the synchronization.

I tried some parameter changes in the asound.conf, file but could not succeed fixing this issue. If I remove the asound.conf from the system, which means dmix is not being used, everything works fine.

Can some one give me some inputs on this?

regards

-Nitin
