snd-hrtimer lock-ups

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello, I was wondering if snd-hrtimer is supposed to be stable and if
people are successfully using it?

I've tried using the ALSA 1.0.19 version on a 2.6.27 kernel via
Rosegarden, and it seems to lock up the entire system within a few seconds.

This is quite unfortunate, since in recent kernels snd-rtctimer is no
longer available (due to the RTC API update) and there is no other way
to get a high resolution ALSA timer.

Thanks,
Dan Muresan
