more help with multiple usb devices

 Hi All

Firstly thanks to all the people who responded last time.
I have tried the simpler methods (modprobe.conf) without success as 2 of my devices have the same vendor ID and product ID even though they are different models. (emagic AMT8 and emagic Unitor 8 mk II).

So it looks like I have to use the udev method. Unfortunately I am having a hard time following the documentation, especially with assigning the order by bus location rather than VID and PID... I'm fairly technical, but I'm just not getting the doco in this case.. so please don't RTFM me..

Does anyone have an example of their UDEV rules for 2 identical devices or one that uses bus location rather than VID and PID they could send me?

If this could also include one PCI device as well, this would be even more helpful as this is also the case in my setup...

cheers

Allan
