I would suggest going through the Alsa site itself, maybe the bug reporting system, and look for other folks using them. If you can find any then see if you can draw them out. also look to see who the developer for the drivers are and get in touch on Alsa-dev or directly if you have to. Don't know what else to say. You must be way out on the Wild West Coast of Oregon to be looking at modems!
