I resorted to installing Windows XP and the HDMI audio worked with that, but in an ironic twist the Realtek driver wouldn't install. I admittedly didn't try very hard, but I hope I'll be able to get a refund on those grounds. From what I've seen so far the graphics drivers are too buggy to make it worth spending any more time messing around with this board. To answer your other question, I enabled the HDMI in the BIOS before I installed any OS at all. -- TH * http://www.realh.co.uk ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list Alsa-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
