I can't say for sure if it is 10 input/outputs. There is a break-out box with a (i think) firewire cable and 6 tele plug inputs and 2 balanced 48v phantom mic. inputs and a couple of rca inputs. It also have two MIDI in/out ports. It also have an RIA filter input for grammophone and earhpones out. I think it adds up to more than 10 in/out.
The alsa driver recognize it as a emu10k1 but alsa doesnt fire up the break-out box.
But if i first boot the box winxp, the break-out box get started, and then immediately boot Linux the break-out box stays on. And then i can get some functions working. I think it was midi in/out and possibly some sound out.
Alsa can't get the break-out box started.
I am about to instal Debian Lenny to get some of the newes versions of alsa.
