Hi all,
thanks to Christian Pellegrin, there is a workaround that makes
playback work correctly on the Fujitsu ST5112.
It involves installing version 1.0.15 of the ALSA drivers and patching
patch_sigmatel.c to have:
static struct hda_verb stac927x_core_init[] = {
/* set master volume and direct control */
{ 0x24, AC_VERB_SET_VOLUME_KNOB_CONTROL, 0xff},
{ 0x24, 0x7e0, 0x00}, /* CHRI */
{}
};
Unfortunately, this does not help when using newer versions of the
driver.
