Echomixer problem.

Hi,

I have some various problems with alsa, jackd, etc., trying to work them
out, as I can.

One problem, that might be simply (I hope) resolved, for a start, is,
turning off the digital input (which comes from my Yamaha 01v, digital
mixer; I use s/pdif, professional, internal settings, which works quite
well with Windows XP setting... as I do dual boot). In the echomixer
setup, I have all of the digital inputs & outputs muted... & I get feed
back when I turn the volume up from the echo digital output.

I checked in my home directory, with control-h, there are three files
named:

/home/henry/Alsa.Echo~
/home/henry/Alsa.Echo~~
/home/henry/Alsa.Echo~~~

???????? are these? Could they have any relevance to a set up (& perhaps
be corrupted or improperly redundant, etc.?)?

Thanks,
Henry
