Its REALLY hard to determine whether linux works with these popular USB sound cards. Griffin iMic (sound card) http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec.hmx?scriteria=3868697 (a bunch of miscellaneous ones) http://www.amazon.com/s?keywords=usb&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Ausb%2Ci%3Aelectronics%2Cn%3A172282%2Cn%3A541966%2Cn%3A172455%2Cn%3A284823 Griffin isn't listed as a company with sound cards: so it seems that counts out the iMic (sound card). For most usb audio devices, you'd think that they'd comply with this "USB audio class specification". But its REALLY hard to determine. http://www.linux-usb.org/USB-guide/x319.html http://www.usb.org/developers/devclass_docs/audio10.pdf Anybody know more about this stuff? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
