Well, I could imagine your low memory has an impact on that but I cannot tell for sure. Do you have another machine to doublecheck ?

Anyway, in order to increase the buffer size you´d need to touch the ALSA settings how your soundcard is initialized but if the the application you're using doesn't offer this option, there is no chance to get that done.

Does´t it work at all - is there only one overrun oder does it appear constantly ? If it only happens once you're actually fine.
