Hi! I'm trying to make heads and tails of a small sound problem. I get sound very very very low from the headphones jack, I had to run it through an external amp on max to get a whisper out of the headphones jack. The onboard speakers make no sound at all. Alsaconfig says that the kernel module to use is the snd_hda_intel which it is using with out any parameters. the /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 says that the Codec is the Generic 1106 ID 1708 which I have no idea how to configure. Could someone help me figuring this out by pointing me in the right direction? Thanks in advance! Chris D. Vighagen Ps. Tech info below Ds.
