I'm using debian lenny (testing) just received alsa 1.0.16-1. As you mentioned this didn't fix my problem. My ALC662 is for some reason not recognized I get: hda_codec: Unknown model for ALC662, trying auto-probe from BIOS... Would it help set the codec manually?
