Re: driver found my card, but utils (lib) doesn't

Hi!

I found a solution, but only for my first problem. Both cards are
working with my original 2.6.4 kernel, and alsa 1.0.2.

First I put the cards next to each other to the PCI slots. When the
first problem occurs, (one card worked, but the second behaved a
little bit strange), I removed one card. The problem stayed. (card
found by the kernel, but the mixer program, can't adjust the devices).
At this point I change kernel, alsa etc, but the card remained in the
same PCI slot.

Now I put the card to an another slot, and it started working. After
that put back the other one, but not to the first card's place, but to
a new PCI slot. And it started working too.

So, both cards are working. :)

I don't understand, what was the problem. The mainboard's PCI bus
system behave interesting. I looked into the documentation, but didn't
find anything suitable....

Thanks anyone who helped me...
