Is there a way to compile alsa drivers 1.0.14 in 2.6.24 ?

make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.24.1'
scripts/Makefile.build:46: *** CFLAGS was changed in
"/tmp/alsa-driver-1.0.14/acore/Makefile". Fix it to use EXTRA_CFLAGS.
Stop.
make[2]: *** [/tmp/alsa-driver-1.0.14/acore] Error 2
make[1]: *** [_module_/tmp/alsa-driver-1.0.14] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.24.1'
make: *** [compile] Error 2
Any ideas ?
