HDA audio and azx_response_timeout

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi.. I've just upgraded my kernel to 2.6.24 which includes ALSA 1.0.15.
There is some alsa-relative line in my current dmesg:

hda_intel: azx_get_response timeout, switching to polling mode: last
cmd=0x00cb8000

This is on-board nVidia HDA audio on MSI laptop.

I don't know, is it good or bad. Sounds works (internal speaker as well
as 3.5mm audio jack). So I think, that I can just ignore it. Am I right?

PS. Full dmesg output for 2.6.24 kernel is attached.
Thanks
