audio assignments in the tvtime.xml file

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Greetings;

Is there a utility that can survey the audio system, and give one the info to
feed to 'tvtime-configuration -x mixerDevice="name of device"' and
successfully assign the tvtime volume control so it runs the mic slider in
kmix, which is associated with the Creative SBO-400 Audigy 2 card installed
and configured as the users audio system, leaving the onboard nforce ac97 for
use by skype/ekiga etc.

I currently have it set for "mic" which apparently misses both audio systems
as there is no effect, or feedback, visible in kmix for either audio system.
