Hello! There's one annoying inconvinience with snd_intel8x0 driver for Fujitsu Siemens P7010 laptop. For whatever reason, the sound volume is controlled only via the Headset volume. The setting of master does not play any role. Since all of the desktop environments manipulate the sound volume via the master, it does not work on this laptop, so I have to contol it via alsamixer or via some other mixer that provides the slider for headset.
