About incorrect card 0 and card 1 assignments... Info only...

Hi all...

I just wanted to pass this along for information only.

I have notice on my Slackware 11 set up my card one and card two can be
assigned backwards in some situation. I my case this is caused by the boot
setup of the OS and has nothing to do with alsa...

When I have the 'hotplug' function active at boot time my PCI card will be
recognized as card 0 and the on board card will be card1 but when
'hotplug' is NOT active at boot time my on board sound card will set up as
card 0 and the PCI as card 1...

I hope this little tidbit might help anyone having these types of
issues...

Thanks for the bandwidth...
