Problems with USB audio

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello list,

Here's a brief overview of my stock Debian setup:

 $ uname -a
 Linux moley 2.6.22-2-686 #1 SMP Fri Aug 31 00:24:01 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

 $ cat /proc/asound/cards
 0 [UA3FX          ]: USB-Audio - UA-3FX
                      EDIROL UA-3FX at usb-0000:00:1d.7-4.6, full speed
 1 [I82801DBICH4   ]: ICH4 - Intel 82801DB-ICH4
                      Intel 82801DB-ICH4 with AD1981B at irq 11

 $ alsaplayer -v
 alsaplayer 0.99.79

And here's the problem I'm having:

 $ alsaplayer -i text -d hw:0,0 *.wav

Alsa is fine with the internal soundcard and I know it can work with
the Edirol UA-3FX because I had the two working perfectly together for
about 3 years on my previous laptop...

Any ideas/suggestions much appreciated, even if just to say you think
I should file a bug report.

Sebastian
