Multiple Soundcard problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi All,

I have two soundcards: a CMI 8738 (snd-cmipci) and an SB Audigy LS
(snd-ca0106). I would like to use the MIDI port of the CMI. The cards
work well standalone, but if I set-up the cards simultaneously, can't
get sound :-((
The /etc/modprobe.d/sound file:

alias snd-card-0 snd-ca0106
alias snd-card-1 snd-cmipci
options snd-ca0106 index=0
options snd-cmipci index=1

In the /proc/asound I can find the /card0 and /card1 also with the
corresponding symlinks (CA0106, CMI8738MC6). With the alsamixer utility
I can set the gains.... What is the problem?

Regards,
Lajos Rancz
