that may be because by default only the outputs are shown. Hit the tab key
to see the inputs and all. (See the View: line at the top of the alsamixer
screen)



Linux is SuSE 10.1, i already tried alsa-drivers and userspace 1.0.14 from
alsa-project.org.

Any ideas, what might be wrong?
I tried to look into the snd-hda-intel sources, to find the headphone sense
logic, but didn't get through.
