I am looking for a Linux driver for the AD1938 or AD1939 codec (4 ADCs, 8 DACs). I hope to use it with a Blackfin BF537 processor and uClinux. A driver for the AD1836a is included in the Blackfin uClinux distribution, but its control registers are set up a little differently and I would like to avoid having to port it if the work has already been done. I found a couple of references to the AD1939 in the archive http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=D12D8E20A67D1B44A0ED49747E675B38015F92DF%40deimsg41.de.net.world http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=ALOGGER1179160860.8%40alsa-project.org but I have not been able to turn up the source yet. The AD1938 is mentioned in the alsa-devel forum, but it is close and won't let me view the messages. http://sourceforge.net/search/index.php?group_id=27464&form_submit=Search&search_subject=1&search_body=1&type_of_search=mlists&all_words=AD1938&exact_phrase=&some_word=&without_words=&posted_date_start=&posted_date_end= Analog Devices includes a driver for the AD1938 in their Blackfin Audio Starter Kit, but it is for the VisualDSP toolset, not Linux/uClinux. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
